Pediatric Well Check

"But we already get a well check at the pediatrician?"

You're right, but this one is different.

a PT wellness exam is in addition to the pediatric exam. While they look more at medical needs and frequent illness, a PT well check looks at the medical history and movement analysis. This can lead to earlier diagnosis of movement disorder and developmental delays.

Why should you get your child a PT Well Check?

Physical therapists provide a broad health screening to track your child's health status over time. That means we can see them at birth and follow them as they age. We can identify problems early on and come up with a plan sooner rather than later.

If any potential problem is identified during the wellness exam, we can perform a full physical therapy evaluation. We then can send a referral to another professional immediately.
