talk to a therapist

If feeding has felt harder than it should… we're glad you've found us.

This is a story we hear alot.

Many families come to us after trying multiple positions, professions, and providers but still feeling like something is being missed.

That’s because feeding involves:

  • oral function
  • muscle tone (without tension)
  • breathing coordination
  • nervous system regulation
  • development and movement

When those pieces aren’t working together, feeding can stay stressful for both baby and parent.

"They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we felt empowered as parents. Thanks to them, we've seen incredible improvements—not just physically, but also in his comfort and confidence with feeding." -MTW momma

Our approach addresses the entire picture, the baby as a whole.

At milestones therapy + wellness, we combine feeding support with whole-body assessment to better understand why feeding still feels difficult. We use our PT/OT knowledge plus our certifications as breastfeeding specialists to support babies who are experiencing:

  • difficulty latching/staying latch
  • noisy, messy feeds
  • reflux or excessive gas
  • body tension or stiffness
  • prolonged or exhausting feeds
  • suspected tongue ties
  • head turn preference with and without a flat spot
  • asymmetrical body movement
  • overactive reflexes

We also collaborate closely with lactation consultants, bodyworkers, chiropractors, dentists, and other providers when additional support is needed making sure everyone is on the same page with your baby's care.

"They didn’t just focus on latch issues—they took the time to listen to all of my concerns, observe my baby carefully, and address any other developmental or feeding issues they noticed." -MTW momma
